Anatomy and biomechanics are the basis of every single well-done taping application.

You won’t be wildly successful without that knowledge.

But anatomy and biomechanics are like the individual letters of the alphabet.

You can know your letters and still need help with spelling.

That’s what this webinar is. A spelling class.

This is a two-part live taping webinar series.  Two parts because the horse is huge and it’s a lot of animal to teach all at once.

We will have enough time to talk about all areas of concern and how to tape them.

You will leave this two-part webinar series with knowledge of specific taping applications for specific cases. I will talk you through a thought pattern that is beyond simply recreating pictures in a manual and I will teach you to use anatomy and biomechanics as your guide to tape anything so you can leave having learned a method of thinking that doesn’t require your dependence on an instructor.

How The Webinar Series Works

  • Each day will be a 2-hour live class where I will teach you the most common taping application for the specific areas of the body.  We will address muscles, nerves, joints, and fascia. These classes will likely go over 2 hours once questions start.  If you want to be a part of all of the entire discussion, plan to stick around past the time on the schedule.

  • On October 19, we will cover the front half of the horse and on October 26, we will cover the back half of the horse.

  • I will teach on common lamenesses, common causes of these lamenesses, and how to tape to prevent, rehab, and perform after these lamenesses.

  • Then, we will discuss specific case studies of real horses. I will present the information, and there will be a max of 5 minutes of discussion where students will chime in with thoughts of how to tape. I will give my final closure on the case, let you know how that horse did in real life, and move to the next case.

  • Finally, we will answer any and all questions that participants have while we are live. Come prepared with paper and pen to take notes on the discussion and have your questions ready to ask at the end.

Are these classes for you?

These webinars are for horse owners and taping practitioners that want to increase their ability to reason through which applications are best for the horse in front of them.

You know how to tape the back, but when am I sure I’m using the correct back application?

The long and the short is this - If you just want to learn more about taping, be in the room with like-minded people, and be a part of the conversation, then yes. Get in here.

If you are new to taping, and you just want to see what it’s about before you do the deep dive in a certification class? You should also get in here.

You’ve got questions, I’ve got answers

  • Yes and no.  Yes, I will repeat some information that you have already seen in the class such as the basics of tape and some of the basic applications.  Some of it will be things you already know.

I will also address some new things that I don’t include in the online classes such as specific case studies, answering live questions, and focusing on nerve innervations.

I will not blow smoke and promise you I’m going to rock your world with some revolutionary, never before seen taping application.  Taping is way too simple for that.

Each experience teaches me something new though - even if the basic info is the same.  Sometimes the little nuances and conversations make things click for me.

I do believe you will walk away with a nugget you didn’t have before.

  • No.  This class will not break down equine anatomy, biomechanics, or physiology.  I will reference all of these things as they guide each application, but they will not be laid out for you on this day. This is 2 hours of taping.

  • Of course.

  • Yes, my friend. You get it all.  You’re welcome to sign up for the waitlist if you want to see the extra info I send out early, but you don’t have to.  Vaulters will get a separate email with the link to join and link to the recording.

  • Yes, I will send out a form with questions you want me to answer, but also I will be there until Jesus comes back if it means I get everyone's questions answered. I will answer them.

  • Yep! It will be posted to my classroom as a recording, but at a higher price than you can get it for right now and you will not have access to live questions.
